GameTok Developer Agreement

Version 2026-10-13 · Last updated: October 13, 2026

This agreement is between you (the "Developer") and GameTok Inc. ("GameTok", "we") and covers publishing games to GameTok through games.gametok.co, the GameTok API, API keys, the bridge script and related tools (the "Developer Services"). By accepting it in the dashboard or using the Developer Services, you agree to it. If you accept on behalf of a company, you confirm you can bind that company.

1. Eligibility and your account

2. Your games stay yours

You keep all rights to your games. You host them; GameTok shows them to players by loading your hosted URL (or the HTML file you upload) inside the GameTok apps and websites.

You grant GameTok a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license, for as long as your game is published, to display, run, frame and distribute your game to players; to make and show screenshots, thumbnails, short previews, its name and description; and to feature it in GameTok's feed, search, recommendations and promotion. The license ends when you unpublish the game, except for copies we keep for legal, safety or record-keeping reasons and promotional material already made.

3. You must have the rights

You confirm that you own or have permission to use everything in your game (code, art, music, fonts, names, characters) and that publishing it on GameTok does not infringe anyone's rights. We respond to valid copyright and trademark complaints and may remove a game while a complaint is resolved.

4. Content rules

GameTok is rated for all ages. Every game you publish must be suitable for all ages. A game must not contain or link to:

Games are approved automatically when they pass GameTok's technical checks. Passing those checks does not mean a game follows these rules — you are responsible for that. GameTok may review any game at any time.

5. Players and their data

6. Multiplayer

If your game uses GameTok matches, your own server runs the gameplay and reports the result. You must report results honestly and only from your server, signed with your secret. Matches carry no stakes and must not be tied to real money or anything that can be cashed out.

7. Money

GameTok does not currently offer in-game purchases, ads revenue sharing or payouts to developers. Nothing in this agreement entitles you to payment. If GameTok offers monetization later, it will be under separate terms that you can choose to accept.

8. Removal, suspension and termination

We may remove or hide any game, revoke API keys, or suspend your developer account at any time if we believe a game or your use of the Developer Services breaks this agreement, harms players, or exposes GameTok to legal risk. Where it is safe and lawful to do so, we will tell you why. You can unpublish your games and stop using the Developer Services at any time.

9. Availability and changes to the service

The Developer Services, the GameTok feed and any statistics we show are provided "as is". We do not promise any number of players, plays or placement in the feed, and we may change or discontinue features.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, GameTok is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability to you under this agreement is limited to US$100. You will indemnify GameTok against claims arising from your games or your breach of this agreement.

11. Changes to this agreement

We may update this agreement. When we do, the version above changes and you will be asked to accept the new version in the dashboard before publishing again. Games already published stay published unless they break the updated rules.
